The Quad Cities Cultural Trust (QCCT) Glow Party will take place this Friday Aug 30 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Quad City Botanical Center (2525 4th Avenue Rock Island). It is that time of year again for the Playcrafters Barn Theatre Bazaar! This year’s Annual Bazaar! Kid’s Carnival will take place this Sunday Aug 25 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Playcrafters Barn Theatre (4950 35th Avenue Moline). Bring the entire family out for craft vendors, carnival games, raffles, bake sale, lemonade stand, a bounce house and a DUNK TANK! New this year is a Pie Eating Contest, as well! Hug A Book At Rock Island Library Next Week!

Parents and caregivers can create some memories while they build a reader at Hug-A-Book: Create, a free event for two-to-five-year-olds and their families on Tuesday, August 27 at the Rock Island Public Library. The event is part of the library’s ongoing Hug-A-Book early learning programming. Families may drop in to try a variety of creatively messy art projects from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on August 27 at the Downtown Library, 401 19th Street.
