The Quad Cities River Bandits 2020 baseball season may have been canceled, but that doesn’t mean the picture-perfect Modern Woodmen Park is sitting on the disabled list. The beautiful stadium at 209 S. Gaines St., Davenport, will be showing classic movie titles on the big screen on select dates through the end of September. They hosted six movies in August, and have four planned this month. MACOMB, IL — The Western Illinois University Food Pantry is looking for students, staff or faculty members of the WIU community to volunteer with the food pantry this fall. The pantry is operational every Thursday from noon-5 p.m. Those who run the food pantry are taking safety measures to keep all patrons and volunteers safe and healthy.
