First Wednesday Art Program Returns at Western Illinois University Sept. 7

The September “First Wednesday” art program at Western Illinois University will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7 in Garwood Hall, the Heating Plant Annex and the University Art Gallery. The event is open free to all ages, and welcomes visitors from campus and the surrounding community/region. The Western Illinois University Department of English will host the Fred Ewing Case and Lola Case Writer-in-Residence Thursday, Sept. 15. This year’s author is KB Brookins, also known as KB, a Black/queer/transmasculine poet, essayist, and cultural worker from Fort Worth, TX.
