Western Illinois University Facilities Management Building Services Employee Cindy Britton has been named the Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month for March. Britton started at WIU part time in 2005 and was hired full time in 2010. Before WIU, Britton’s favorite roles were being a wife and mother. Rock Island Milan Little League and Softball are pleased to announce tryouts for Little League and Babe Ruth Fast Pitch Softball for 2024 and beyond! Ages 4-14 will be able to play Little League Softball. Ages 15-18 will be able to play Babe Ruth Softball. Girls from Rock Island, Milan, Sherrard, Aledo, Andalusia and more can play in our league.
