Davenport Awarded Over $15 Million In Grants For Buses, Road Improvements

Davenport is on the move in a good way! And a green way! In addition to the funding that City Council allocates each year for a variety of capital improvement projects, City staff also pursues a number of grant opportunities each year to leverage the investment the City has made on a number of projects. The City of Davenport and Davenport Public Library recognize the importance of investing in the success and well-being of our residents. As a result, Quinn O’Brian was hired and currently serves as the Library Social Worker, providing assistance in navigating the complex system of support available in the community. The Rock Island County Health Department has opened a new clinic to ensure students have easy access to health services.
