On Friday, January 27, at 6 p.m., Bucktown Center for the Arts is hosting a Mid-coast fine arts gallery opening of Bucktown Invitational show. Flower String Art Event Blooming In Kewanee

Do you enjoy crafting? Are you looking for a new craft to try? Then come to Mosaic Art Market and Studio for their Initial Flower String Art event. You will use a 12×12 board and a stain color that you will choose upon signing up to create a large string letter on your board. The board is also provided and you are able to choose your string colors as well. A Taste of Q-C Art is a new rotating art exhibit featuring area creators debuting at the Rock Island shop notable for its smoothies, coffees, candy and other snacks. Partnership Provides the Community with A Look At The River Through Artists’ Eyes

Local artist Heidi Brandt is launching “Art Meets the River”, a 2017 calendar showcasing Quad City river art from 6 local artists. The project will benefit local non-profit River Action. An art exhibit featuring the calendar art will be held at the Bereskin Gallery located in Bucktown Center for the Arts, 225 E. 2nd Street Davenport, from October 28th through November 12. Artists celebrate 10 years at Bucktown Center for the Arts

Dee Schricker and Heidi Brandt will be celebrating 10 years of exhibiting their art at Bucktown. Both artists started by renting an 8’ x 12’ wall space in one of the first galleries at Bucktown. They were outgrowing their exhibit area so Dee rented a gallery that became available and offered Heidi space. Dee has since leased four galleries at Bucktown, two being co-owned with Heidi. They currently own and operate the Boho Chic Gallery offering contemporary art for home and office. Riverssance Fine Arts Festival Flows Back Into Quad-Cities

The Riverssance Fine Arts Festival is bringing a river of art back into the Quad-Cities.
