The Old West is coming to the Quad Cities! The National Congress of Old West Shootists (NCOWS) convention rolls into town this weekend. The NCOWS will be holding their 2017 National Convention at the Radisson Quad City Plaza (111 E 2nd St. Davenport) on Friday March 24 from 1-5pm, Saturday March 25 from 9am-5pm and Sunday March 27 from 10am-2pm. Public is welcome and the cost of a one-day pass is only $5. The mecca of Caged Aggression Events is coming to the Quad Cities! The 5th annual two-night event, Caged Aggression XIX “The Clash of Champions”, is set to take place this weekend Friday March 24 and Saturday March 25 at the RiverCenter in Davenport. Doors open at 6pm and show starts at 7:30, both nights. Tickets for Friday night are $30 for general admission, $45 for VIP table seat (includes waitress) and $50 for front row cage side. Spring has officially sprung! Which means it’s time to start thinking of those gardens. The annual QCCA Flower and Garden Show is coming to the QCCA Expo Center March 23-26. The Popular Astronomy Club will be holding a Public Astronomy Night on Saturday March 18 in the Niabi Zoo parking lot.
