The 100% volunteer organized and executed fundraiser will feature live performances from local high schools during the day, live bands at night, a play area for young children, national and local BBQ vendors, and a KCBS sanctioned Backyard BBQ event. The KCBS BBQ competition, sponsored by Tyson, will have a $7,500 purse and competitors will be competing in three categories: pork ribs, chicken, and steak.

The proceeds from this fundraiser are raised to support a variety of local non-profits in the Quad
Cities which include CASI, Tapestry Farms, Habitat for Humanity, Camp Kesem, and more. In
addition, these funds also support Jaycees sponsored charity events such as Jaycees Santa.
This is a volunteer favorite, as we shop for over 100 families to make Christmas a wonderful and
memorable experience for many underprivileged families in the Quad Cities area.
