Looking for a step up on a new career?

Seeking an internship that’s going to help your job prospects and expand your skills?

You’re in luck, because a virtual Fall Career and Internship Fair, for all academic majors at Western Illinois University, will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Students and alumni will be able to take part in both group and one-on-one sessions with employers. They can participate in as many group and one-on-one sessions as they choose to. Participants must log in to Handshake and sign up for sessions prior to the event. To join Handshake, visit wiu.joinhandshake.com.

The event is being put on by the WIU Career Development Office, and is free for job seekers. In addition, the WIU Visual Production Center will be taking free headshots in the lower level of Memorial Hall, from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, Oct. 1 and from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 for students registered for the fair.
