MACOMB/Moline, IL –Western Illinois University’s virtual summer orientation experience kicked off Wednesday, May 27, and will continue throughout June. Incoming new first-year students on the Macomb campus can sign up for their virtual summer orientation day by logging into their STARS account. Several dates remain available in June.

Western Illinois University Holding New Student Virtual OrientationDuring virtual summer orientation, students will meet their orientation leaders and begin to learn how to be a successful student at WIU. New students will continue to have opportunities to engage with staff and have opportunities through the summer to take part in extended online new student orientation sessions. Students will learn about campus resources, academic services, life as a Leatherneck and much more.

Orientation for new first-year students on the Quad Cities campus will occur in June and August.

Registration for Fall 2020 classes began in April for all incoming new students. Students should begin working with their academic adviser regarding registration. New students should log onto STARS to find additional information on connecting with their adviser.
