The Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement (OSE), in conjunction with numerous other campus offices, will host “Spring Into a Fun Semester” during week seven and eight of the Spring 2021 semester, March 1-13.

The goal of the events is to help engage students and help them make meaningful connections.

The week seven and eight schedule includes:

• Tuesday, March 2
– 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Tuesday on the Terrace with the Women’s Center, from the Multicultural Center, located on the Union Terrace

– 4-5 p.m. – FSL Human Bingo, virtual
– 6-7 p.m. – WIU’s Zoom Social, virtual
– 7-9 p.m. – UUB Trivia Night, virtual

• Thursday, March 4

– 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Thursday on the Terrace, located on the University Union Terrace
– 5-6:30 p.m. – Casa Latina Cultural Center “X in Latinx,” Multicultural Center

• Friday, March 5
– 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. – Multicultural Center LGBT*QA Resource Center, “What’s the T*?” – located in the Multicultural Center

• Monday, March 8
– 1:30-2:30 p.m. – LEAD Series, Handshake How-to Workshop, located in the Lincoln Room of the University Union
– 6-7 p.m. – Black and Women’s History Month Keynote by Tamika Austin, virtual

• Tuesday, March 9
– 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Tuesday on the Terrace with the Student Development and Success Center, located on the University Union Terrace

• Wednesday, March 10
– 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Women’s History Month – Wednesdays with the Women’s Center, located in the Multicultural Center’s multipurpose room
– 6-7 p.m. – WIU’s Zoom Social, virtual
– 7 p.m. – UUB Bingo, virtual

• Thursday, March 11
– 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday on the Terrace with the Multicultural Center’s LGBT*QA Resource Center, located on the University Union Terrace

• Friday, March 12
– 1-2 p.m. – Café y Hablamos, in person at the Casa Latina Cultural Center in the Multicultural Center

• Saturday, March 13
– 1 p.m. – Football game vs. the University of Northern Iowa, virtual
