The Western Illinois University Office of Student Engagement (OSE), in conjunction with numerous other campus offices, will host “Spring Into a Fun Semester” March 29- April 10 during the Spring 2021 semester.

The goal of the events is to help engage students and help them make meaningful connections.

'Spring Into a Fun Semester' at Western Illinois University Continues Through April 10The two-week schedule includes:

• Tuesday, March 30
– 5-6 p.m. – Gamma Phi Omega Sorority Inc. and the MCC Women’s Center present “Uncomfortable Truths” – in person, located in the MCC

• Wednesday, March 31
– 3:30-4:30 p.m. –L.E.A.D Series – Ally in Action, virtual
– 5 p.m. – Campus Rec Basketball Skills Challenge – in person, located in the Campus Rec
– 6-7 p.m. – WIU’s Zoom Social, virtual
– 7-9 p.m. – Trivia Night, virtual
– 7-9 p.m. – UUB Bingo- in person, located in the Heritage Room of the Union

• Thursday, April 1
– Pride Month Begins – MCC LGBT*QA Resource Center
– All Day- Campus Rec Walking Challenge, virtual
– 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Homecoming Scavenger Hunt – in person, located in various locations around campus
– 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – LGBT*QA Resource Center: 10th Anniversary Gift Bag Giveaway – in person, located in the MCC

• Friday, April 2
– 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. – UUB DIY Grab & Go Kit – in person, located in the OSE
– 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. – MCC LGBT*QA Resource Center – “What’s the T*?” – in person, located in the MCC
– 6-8:30 p.m. – MCC LGBT*QA Resource Center Equality Ball – in person, located in the MCC

• Saturday, April 3
– 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 7 p.m. – Football vs. Youngstown (Softball, Baseball, Men’s Soccer)

• Monday, April 5
– Campus Rec Esports Leagues (Rocket League & FIFA) Begins, virtual
– Kinder Monday (Financial Aid) – in person, located in Sherman Hall, (Time TBD)
– 11:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. – MCC LGBT*QA Resource Center & Felicia Lonosky, WIU Honors Student present the “Honoring LGBTQ+ Musicians and Music” – in person, located on the MCC Lawn
