Illinois vs. Iowa Border War Heats Up In Wharton!Are you ready for an entire day filled with incredibly intense area high school girls’ basketball games?  Good, because it’s time for the 2018 IHMVCU’s Girls Basketball Shootout!

The border war between 7 Illinois and 7 Iowa girls’ varsity basketball teams will take place this Saturday Jan 6 at Wharton Field House (1601 15th Street Moline). Admission for adults is $5, and elementary and middle school students wearing their school’s logo will get in for $2 all day!

You won’t want to miss the following match-ups:

10 a.m.                   Sherrard vs. Davenport West

11:45 a.m.            Alleman vs. Davenport Central

1:30 p.m.              Pekin vs. Davenport North

3:15 p.m.              United Township vs. Assumption

5 p.m.                      Geneseo vs. North Scott

6:45 p.m.              Moline vs. Bettendorf

8:30 p.m.              Rock Island vs. Pleasant Valley
