Looking to make your world a little greener? You can pre-order yourself some plants online from the Botanical Center!

The Quad City Botanical Center is hosting its annual Greenhouse Stock Plant Sale Friday, May 8 and Saturday, May 9. Times both days are 10 AM – 5 PM.

The public is invited to shop the May weekend sale and pre-order plants by April 17. Pre-orders can be picked up May 8-9 during the sale. Details will be provided if social distancing is required for plant pick up.

Quad City Botanical Center Hosting Annual Greenhouse Plant SaleThis year, approximately 50 different varieties of annuals and perennials are included in the sale. Individual plants are available for sale from $3 – $12 with a majority of the 4” pots offered at $5.

Gardeners can select from five medium or large-sized container combinations that staff at the Botanical Center have designed. Each combo comes with four to seven plants and a planting diagram. The plants come in individual pots and can be repotted by the purchaser into their own container at home.

New staff picks for 2020 are also included in the sale. Twelve unique plants are available for $3, $5 or $10, depending on pot size and plant variety.

Quad City Botanical Center members can pick up their pre-sale plants or shop the greenhouse stock early on Thursday, May 7, 5 PM – 7 PM.

ADMISSION

There is no admission fee to shop the sale. Regular admission applies to stroll the gardens. The Botanical Center is located at 2525 4th Avenue in Rock Island, Illinois.
