Light Up Your Life On The Arsenal With Tree Ceremony
Looking for a family-friendly and holiday orientated event this weekend? Then head to the Rock Island Arsenal for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony!
This year’s Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place this Friday Dec 1 at Heritage Hall (Bldg 60) from 4-8 p.m.
Santa will be making an appearance and even posing for keepsake photos! There will also be free cookies, kids’ activities, door prize drawings and food and beverages available for purchase in the Lock & Dam Lounge.
Come and check out the gingerbread houses on display for the Gingerbread House Contest!
A collection for Toys for Tots will also be in full swing throughout the evening, so feel free to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate for local area children. For more information, call (309) 782-2165.
