Have you been wondering how you can do your part to help with the recent devastating floods in the Quad Cities?

Xstream Cleanup, in response to historic flooding, is calling for volunteers for a one day, region wide flood cleanup. Flood Cleanup 2019 will take place on Saturday Jun 29 from 8 – 11 a.m. Multiple areas throughout Iowa and Illinois will be focused on, with a full list found at https://www.xstreamcleanup.org/upcoming-events.Join Xstream Cleanup for Flood Cleanup 2019 this Weekend!

Xstream Cleanup is a Quad-Cities initiative to clean up our waterways with the goal of maintaining clean water for drinking, recreation, wildlife and commerce.

Those who’d like to help with flood recovery are asked to register at www.XstreamCleanup.org.

Cleanup supplies such as gloves, dust masks, garbage bags, etc. will be provided by Xstream Cleanup. Volunteers should be prepared to get dirty and are asked to wear old clothes and closed toed shoes. The type of cleanup work will vary by location, but all Flood Cleanup 2019 locations will be considered heavy duty and include debris removal.
