Free Kids Filmmaking Workshop Set For German Heritage Center

A free Kids Short Filmmaking Workshop will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 20 at the German American Heritage Center, 712 W 2nd Street, Davenport.

Local filmmaker Harry Walker will instruct kids in grades 4-8 how to use readily available technology to create a short film! Top submissions to the Short Film Fest by October 2 will be shown at the Fest on Thursday, October 20 at 6 p.m. The free public event will be held in grand Hollywood style.
