Floatzilla 2018 Making a Splash this Weekend!
Have you ever wanted to participate in an attempt to break a world record? Well here is your opportunity!
Floatzilla 2018 will once again attempt to break the world record for Largest Flotilla of Man-Powered Crafts, this weekend!
There are a few different ways one can register. You can go online and register at https://secure.getmeregistered.com/get_information.php?event_id=128704. You can also stop by the River Action office at 822 E River Drive, Davenport (Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Registration can also take place during the Packet Pickup on Friday Aug 17 from 4-7 p.m. at the Credit Island Lodge (2200 W River Drive Davenport).
On Saturday Aug 18, Floatzilla 2018 will commence. There will be numerous launch areas based on your kayaking skill level. Locations and launch times can be found at http://www.floatzilla.org/. Food, fun and entertainment will be provided at Lake Potter in Rock Island all day long!
