Find Local History And Beauty In Local Home Tours
It’s no secret that the QCA has a rich history filled with beautiful homes and even more stylish stories. Here is your opportunity to not only view two local historic homes but also to learn how those who resided in those homes helped create the community we now enjoy.
On Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays between Jan 31 and Mar 2, the Butterworth Center and Deere-Wiman House in Moline are offering free tours! The tours will begin at 2:30 in the Deere-Wiman House (817 11th Ave Moline) and then proceed to the Butterworth Center (1105 8th St Moline).
Come and learn the secrets of the first owners, the homes’ design and construction, and their role in the development of the Quad Cities. Upstairs, downstairs and everywhere in between, you will receive a behind-the-scenes look at a fascinating chapter in local history.
No reservations are required, however it is requested you indicate your interest in the tour you plan to attend on the Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/1580277908733865/.

What a better way to experience some of the most enthralling homes in the QCA than to go inside and snoop around?
