How about kicking off the Easter weekend with some live duck hatchings?

The John Deere Pavilion (1400 River Drive Moline) will be hosting one of their most popular family events, the 2018 Annual Duck Hatching, Mar 29-31 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Admission is free for the entire family!

This event features a hatching observation and education program with informational sessions conducted at the top of every hour. In addition to observing duck eggs hatching and ducklings playing and swimming, families will be treated to brief presentations that will help children learn about ducklings. Children can ask questions and will have an opportunity to pet a duckling. A video showing duck eggs hatching will also be shown so guests can witness the full experience anytime during their visit. For more information and for updates on this event, visit the Facebook event page at

In addition to the duck hatching, a special guest will be on-site for spring photo opportunities with children and families!

Get into the spirit of spring while learning a little something along the way this weekend at the 2018 Duck Hatching at the John Deere Pavilion!
