Davenport’s Going Back To The Old WestThe Old West is coming to the Quad Cities! The National Congress of Old West Shootists (NCOWS) convention rolls into town this weekend.

The NCOWS will be holding their 2017 National Convention at the Radisson Quad City Plaza (111 E 2nd St. Davenport) on Friday March 24 from 1-5pm, Saturday March 25 from 9am-5pm and Sunday March 27 from 10am-2pm. Public is welcome and the cost of a one-day pass is only $5.

The convention will bring many vendors for period clothing, firearms (both reproduction and antique), leather, books, period collectibles, and more. Top quality vendors will be displaying their wares and several interesting seminars will be held on Old West topics.

The National Congress of Old West Shootists (NCOWS) was founded in 1994 to promote “safe Western Action Shooting including the re-enactment and promotion of the historical Old West heritage of the United States in all its ethnic, social and occupational diversity” during the period 1865 to 1899.

Saddle up those horses and trot on down to the Radisson this weekend for a good ol’ time!
