Summer can bring some active weather in the Midwest. Do you have a child at home who is intrigued and interested about weather and the magic of meteorologists?

Young Meteorologists, a two-day summer camp for kids, is happening at the Putnam Museum (1717 W 12th St. Davenport) on Monday Jul 2 and Tuesday Jul 3, both days beginning at 9 a.m.

Sponsored by KWQC, campers in grades 3 to 5 will learn how to deliver their own weather report by the end of this comprehensive camp and bring out their inner storm-chaser as they discover the history and science behind weather! Meteorologist Cedric Haynes will also be making a special guest appearance!

The cost for this exciting and educational experience is only $75. You can register online today at—Two-Day-Full-Day—Young-Meteorologists–3rd–4th.

Before-care is available starting at 8 a.m. and after-care is available until 4 p.m.

Don’t miss this opportunity to give your child a learning experience they will never forget!
