Break out the pokeballs and don your bowties. Skellington Swerve is holding their Nerdy New Year! On Thursday, January 26 starting at 7 p.m., Swerve is celebrating their first year of establishment and you’re invited! There is no cover charge for this live variety show, but a $5 performance donation is appreciated. Come dressed in your best nerd outfit or in your favorite cosplay to celebrate the geek side of life. Doors and Food Service opens at 7 and the Adult Beverage Bar is open for those 21 and older with a valid I.D. The show starts at 8 p.m. till 10 p.m., entertainment being directed at a PG 13 age group. Magical Girls Tarot and Healing with charge $10 for readings and $20 for Empath Healings.  A 2016 Eulogy will also be presented by Ed Lammers titled “2016 Sucked: A Eulogy for the Year of 2016.” Food will be priced between $5 and $8, specials provided by local chef and 2015 Wapsi Jerk-Off champ Jon Vance. This event also includes games and prizes.
