Free Family Day at the Figge Art Museum (225 W 2nd St Davenport) will be held this Saturday Nov 18 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Come celebrate the new exhibitions at the Figge with a variety of hands-on projects and experiences for both kids and adults!

Projects will be offered in three different studios. Studio 2 will be focusing on another Students Rebuild project. In Studio 3, you will be able to create your own impressionist art with oil pastels. Studio 4 will provide an opportunity to make gilded frames.

Stop by Studio 1 to learn more about Day of the Dead with a variety of activities. Don’t miss the free play in Artica, the museum’s most kid-friendly space. Stop in to see films scheduled throughout the day in the Auditorium.

You can also visit the new exhibitions and chat with museum guides in the galleries. The 1st floor gallery will showcase Corn Zone. The 2nd floor showcases Irma Rene Koen: An Artist Rediscovered. The 3rd floor showcases Jean Shin Power and Piety. And the 4th floor will showcase Endless Flight.

Stop by the Figge for a day filled with family fun. And don’t forget, it’s FREE!
