WQPT’s Imagination Station Rolls Into WIU

WQPT’s annual Imagination Station will be happening this Saturday, March 18! The event takes place at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities, at 3300 River Drive Moline.

WQPT’s Imagination Station builds on the learning success created by PBS KIDS programs. You can enjoy educational activities, demonstrations and skill building in literacy, science, technology, engineering, math, arts, and resiliency. There will be many super special guests, including a bunch of your favorite PBS friends! Each PBS character will have their own station with fun activities reinforcing the learning concepts in their specific programs.

Thanks to the generous support of WQPT’s regional sponsors, this event is completely free to the public. A ticket is still needed for admission, though. As of now, the tickets are unfortunately sold out. However, you can go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/imagination-station-2017-registration-28655500373 and sign up for the waiting list. You can sign up for either the morning admission (9-11am) or the afternoon admission (12-2pm).

Even if you are unable to receive tickets to this year’s event, you can still participate in the VIP Party on Friday night by becoming a WQPT Kids Club member. This can be done by calling Candy at (309) 764-2400 x 65023. You could be one of the first to see information about the 2018 Imagination Station, as well as other WQPT-Quad Cities PBS events by signing up for their newsletters at http://www.wqpt.org/contact/.
