The Walcott Trucker’s Jamboree is rolling a high five of fan favorite musical performers at this year’s event, its 37th at the Iowa 80 Truckstop. The gigs will be held July 14-16, 2016 at Iowa 80 Truckstop, I-80 Exit 284, Walcott, Iowa.

“We have a great line up this year,” says Heather DeBaillie, Marketing Manager. “Our performers are fan favorites.”

Thursday July 14 attendees can enjoy the music of Dani Lynn Howe and headliner Clare Dunn. “Dani Lynn is sure to be full of energy and playing our favorites,” says DeBaillie.  “Clare Dunn has just released her new single Tuxedo. Dunn is an accomplished guitar player and spent last year opening for Miranda Lambert.

Friday, July 15 will feature local favorite North of 40 and Sammy Kershaw.

Sammy Kershaw is famous for his career hits She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful, Third Rate Romance, Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On, Queen of My Double Wide Trailer and many more,” says DeBaillie.  “The grounds will be packed Friday night!”

Trucking favorite, Lindsay Lawler, will perform Saturday afternoon, July 16.  “Lindsay is the spokesperson for trucking’s Highway Angel Program and brings a lot of spunk to her performance,” according to DeBaillie.

The 2016 Walcott Truckers Jamboree will also feature a Super Truck Beauty Contest, Antique Truck Display; Iowa pork chop cookout; over 150 exhibits, Trucker Olympics; carnival games; two fireworks displays, a 100th birthday party for Iowa 80 Trucking Museum’s 1916 Mack AC and loads of fun for the whole family.  Admission and parking are free.  Shuttles will be provided from the parking area to the event grounds.
