The German American Heritage Center is holding its Fall Frolic Fundraising Gala from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Outing Club Ballroom in Davenport.

With your ticket, you help support educational outreach to area schools. Cocktails and the Silent Auction will begin at 5, Dinner at 6 with a delicious new menu this year including Sauerbraten and Weiner schnitzeland.

doug-millerA presentation at 7 p.m. will take place featuring special guest J. Douglas Miller, a producer of the documentary Whiskey Cookers: The Amazing Story of the Templeton, Iowa Bootleggers.

Patrons are then invited on Saturday to come see the full documentary at the Figge Art Museum in the John Deere Auditorium at 2 p.m. for $5.
