Are you ready to find out firsthand if pimpin’ is or ain’t easy?

Well, you can get some idea this weekend as the Speakeasy in downtown Rock Island is pleased to announce the return of Pimprov, one of the most popular adult improv shows in Chicago on April 8. The doors open at 7:00 and show a 8:00. Tickets for the show are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets may be reserved through the Circa ’21 ticket office located at 1828 3rd Avenue, Rock Island or by calling 309-786-7733, Extension 2 or online at www.thecirca21speakeasy.com.

You’ve seen the flashy suits and jewelry so bright that a blind man can see it shining and now hear the jokes that go along with that flashy attire! Pimprov has been a hugely successful in Chicago and across the country for years. The show revolves around four pimps who took comedy classes at Second City on accident. The group lacks political correctness and outrageous costumes are only part of the reason they are so popular! This show is rated “R” and is intended for adult audiences 18 and older. Opening for Pimprov will be local stand up comedian James Draper.

“This has been one of the more popular shows we have done in The Speakeasy over the years” said Brett Hitchcock Director of Audience Development. “Everyone loves the show!  The Pimps are absolutely hilarious. You don’t want to miss them.”

Come party with the Pimps at The Speakeasy on April 8th. Call 786-7733, ext. 2 for tickets and more info.
