Are you ready for some frozen fun on the Mississippi this weekend?

Friends of Off Road Cycling (FORC) will be hosting their annual Frozen Fat Fondo Fest, this Saturday Jan 27! The festival will be held rain, shine, snow, or slime on the beautiful shores of the Mississippi River at the recently rebuilt Credit Island Lodge.

This one of kind off road course will consist of Fatbikes with tires 3.5” or wider. No exceptions! Don’t have a Fatbike? Then buy, borrow or rent one!

Riders will test their mettle on a circuit featuring many technical challenges (b-lines available for most) through thick lowland forest and chunky river shoreline on this 3-hour endurance ride.

Stick around after the ride for even more fun! There will be food, music and a bonfire. Don’t forget to enter the Shenanigans portion of the event for the best prizes.

For a detailed agenda and to register for this event, visit QCFORC’s website at http://www.qcforc.org/content.php?199-Frozen-Fat-Fondo-Fest.

Not feeling the whole biking thing but still want to participate? Then sign up to become a volunteer! You can e-mail the race director at fx4@qcforc.org.

All proceeds from this event (entry fees and raffles) benefit FORC and will be used to purchase materials and tools needed to maintain and improve local single-track trails.

Don’t miss out on this one of a kind event!
