A new production of “Children of Eden” is coming to life at Quad City Music Guild this weekend.

Based on the story of Genesis, the age-old conflict of parents and children takes the stage in this epic, heartfelt Stephen Schwartz musical which is family oriented and kid friendly.

Critics have called it a joyous, foot-stomping and inspirational musical about parents, children and faith… not to mention centuries of unresolved family business! An expansive and ambitious musical, Adam, Eve, Noah and the “Father” who created them deal with the headstrong, cataclysmic actions of their respective children. The show ultimately delivers a bittersweet but inspiring message: that “the hardest part of love… is letting go.”

Show times are 7:30 Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 on Sunday Aug. 5-7 and 11-14 at the Prospect Park Theater, Moline.
Cost is $16 for adults and $11 for children.

For reservations go to www.qcmusicguild.com or call 762-6610.
