Celebrate Bix’s Birthday With Swing And Jazz Bash
One of the most influential jazz soloists of the 1920s was born and raised right here in the QCA, and it’s time to celebrate his birthday! That’s right, it’s Bix Beiderbecke’s birthday!
The Bix Birthday Bash fundraiser is happening this Saturday Mar 10 at Rhythm City Casino (7077 Elmore Avenue Davenport) from 6:30 – 9 p.m. in the Rhythm Room!
This evening includes free Swing Dance Lessons from 6:30 – 7 p.m. Then stick around to enjoy live music from Dandelion Stompers from 7 – 8 p.m. and Locust Street Boys from 8 – 9 p.m.
In addition to the amazing musical entertainment, enjoy some delicious birthday cake and Bix souvenirs!
The cost for this event is $15 per person. Must be 21 and over to enter the casino.
