With one month left before challenges splash down on July 31, there’s still time for all ages to read and win rewards for meeting their summer reading goals. Readers may enter and participate online or by using paper forms.

The library lot will be closed off to hold the event. Public parking is available at surrounding parking lots and on the street. In the event of rain, the bands will perform in the Library Community Room on the second floor.

Summer reading participants may also earn points for the items they check out when they register for the library’s free My Library Rewards incentive program. The new service awards points for checking out items at a Rock Island Library. For more details, visit www.mylibraryrewards.com.
