The 40th Annual Walcott Truckers Jamboree is happening today, Thursday Jul 11 through Saturday Jul 13 at Iowa 80- The World’s Largest Truckstop (755 W Iowa 80 Rd. Walcott).
This free family-friendly 3-day event will include an antique truck display, Super Trucks Beauty Contest, Over 175 exhibits, Iowa Pork Chop Cookout, Carnival Games, Live Country Music, Trucker Olympics, Fireworks and so much more!
Since its inception in 1979, the Truckers Jamboree has been celebrating America’s Truckers. This event is a great place to celebrate and learn about trucking and those big rigs. It’s a way of saying thank you to the millions of truck drivers that deliver the goods we consume, whether it’s groceries, gas, clothes or cars — you can bet it was delivered by a truck.
