Bettendorf Public Library’s Mystery Book Club to explore Noir classic
Vicarious gumshoes, P.I.s, special agents and spies can find a home on the second Saturday of each month for the Bettendorf Public Library’s 
Mystery Book Club.
Mystery Book Club.The group discusses mysteries and thrillers and always welcomes new members. The next Mystery Book Club will be held online on April 10th at 9:00 AM via GoToMeeting to discuss the mystery crime classic, The Last Good Kiss by James Crumley.
Free copies of the book are available for pick up at the Library’s Information Desk or through the Library’s Drive Up Window and can be arranged by calling 563-344-4179.

The Last Good Kiss is considered a seminal work in the noir genre. Author James Crumley was an Iowa Writers’ Workshop graduate and his work continues to influence today’s current writers. Participants in the Mystery Book Club will discuss the novel and share their insights into the reading.
