The Bettendorf Public Library is inspiring creativity at home with its monthly Take Home Workshop for adults.
Starting on Thursday, October 22nd, take home kits designed for teens ages 16 through adult will available for pick up at the library located at 2950 Learning Campus Dr. in Bettendorf.
This month’s Take Home Workshop will feature Colorful Translucent Tea Light Shades. The kits contain supplies needed to follow along on the Bettendorf Public Library’s Take Home Workshop YouTube playlist and are free thanks the support of the Friends of the Bettendorf Public Library.
The Bettendorf Public Library seeks to inspire do-it-yourself enthusiasts by hosting creation events. This virtual program gives participants an opportunity to light up their homes with beautiful, colorful translucent tea light shades.
Participants can follow along with the video or use the printed instructions included in the kit. No registration is required to participate and the kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Anyone interested in creating this craft can find out more at the Bettendorf Public Library’s website at or by calling 563-344-4179.
